our services

  • Whether your child is recovering from an injury, facing developmental delays, or just needs a little extra help with movement, our pediatric physical therapy is tailored to meet their needs. We use play-based techniques to improve strength, coordination, and mobility, ensuring your child can enjoy their favorite activities and reach their milestones with confidence.

    • Gross Motor Skills: Using big muscles when learning to sit and roll, improving torticollis and flatness on head, and learning to walk, run and climb.

    • Fine Motor Skills: Improve hand strength, coordination, and dexterity by stacking blocks, picking up small objects, prewriting, and beginning dressing skills.

    • Bilateral Coordination: Throwing and catching soft balls, coordinating yoga moves, and more to learn the ability to use both sides of their body together.

    • Custom Made Shoe Inserts: If needed, your child may be fitted with custom-made shoe inserts to support proper foot and ankle alignment, improve posture, and enhance walking. These can help with comfort and alignment during movement.

  • If you’ve noticed your child having trouble pronouncing certain sounds or words, our articulation therapy is designed to help! We work with children to improve their speech clarity and confidence through playful exercises and strategies. Together, we’ll ensure your child can express themselves clearly and be understood by others.

  • Is mealtime a challenge at your house? Our pediatric feeding therapy is here to help! We work with children who may be picky eaters or have difficulty swallowing, including those with tongue tie issues. Through fun and engaging activities, we encourage a positive relationship with food, helping your child explore new tastes and textures while building their confidence at the table.

  • For both adults and children experiencing difficulty with swallowing, our swallow therapy provides specialized techniques to make eating and drinking safer and more enjoyable. We focus on building skills and confidence, ensuring that mealtimes are a positive experience for everyone.

  • Do you or your child struggle with jaw discomfort, tongue placement, or breathing issues? Our myofunctional therapy focuses on the muscles of the mouth and face, addressing concerns like tongue-tie and thumb sucking. This therapy can improve function and comfort for both kids and adults, supporting proper jaw alignment and alleviating TMJ pain to make eating, speaking, and sleeping easier.

    How long are visits?

The first consultation is scheduled for 60 minutes. Please complete all paperwork before the scheduled appointment. Missing paperwork may delay the start of your appointment, despite early arrival. Most follow-up visits are scheduled for 30 minutes; however, a 60-minute appointment may be indicated based on the complexity of the case (e.g., severe weight loss, high needs baby, feeding tubes, etc).

    How many visits are needed?

Each baby has different needs, and their families have different visions for their feeding journey. A timeline cannot be determined with certainty until the evaluation is completed and family goals are outlined. Historically, an infant with mild feeding challenges may only need 2 to 4 sessions. A baby with oral weakness may need more support.

Are you going to push for a tongue-tie release?

No. A frenectomy is a decision that should be carefully considered after more least invasive methods have been implemented. Ideally, you will know if/why/when based on performance in therapy. We also have questionnaires that provide quantitative data to determine the next step.   If you plan on a frenectomy, we can support you with pre-/post-operative support in the form of wound care and neuromuscular re-education. If you do not wish to seek surgical intervention, management techniques will be trained and monitored over time.

What can we do about colic, reflux, and fussiness?

Different therapies can help with your baby's colic, reflux, sleep problems, and fussiness. A speech therapist can improve how your baby eats, making feeding easier and reducing tummy troubles. Craniosacral therapy gently relieves tension, helping your baby relax and sleep better. A lactation consultant helps with breastfeeding, making sure your baby latches on correctly to reduce discomfort. Physical therapy improves your baby's muscle tone and movements, helping with digestion and comfort. Together, these therapies offer a complete approach to make your baby feel better and happier.
